The vibration type of the engine differs from the rotary type in less power. Because of this, the duration of continuous operation of most machines is significantly reduced - after 15-20 minutes, the device must be allowed to cool and rest. Another disadvantage of a significant number of such devices is strong vibration and noise.

Currently, both types of engine are found in different price categories. You can purchase a device with a rotary motor at a budget cost or see a vibration machine in expensive segments. The price also depends on other characteristics of the device.

Types of nozzles

There are from 1 to 11 different nozzles in the kit. All of them are divided into:

• Stainless steel knives are the most common and are the standard and acceptable material. Blades made from an inexpensive alloy without any coating are difficult to sharpen and quickly dull, tearing out more hair with each haircut, so it is better not to take them.

• One of the most common materials for quality knives is titanium. It is usually present only as a plating, but can be the base metal for making blades. Titanium knives are distinguished by increased strength and wear resistance, but also by a higher cost.

• The highest quality cutting tips are made from ceramic. They do not tear hair, do not blunt and are suitable for allergy sufferers. Another indispensable quality is that they do not warm up during operation, which is why they are often used in salons. The only negative is that, yes, ceramic blades cannot be scratched, but they can be damaged if dropped.

Nutrition methods

At first glance, this is not the most important characteristic, under certain circumstances, becomes fundamental. Therefore, the power of the device must be studied before buying. For example, a mains powered device, and even with a short cord, will be completely unsuitable for salons or self-cutting the back of the head. But a standalone device, without the ability to connect to a network, is not very convenient. Obviously, the most optimal type of power supply is mixed, that is, from the network and autonomous. Devices with their own battery and the ability to recharge can be used outside the home, for example, to take with you on a business trip. It is best to purchase a model equipped with a lithium-ion battery, which lasts much longer. In addition, these batteries are ready to use faster and last longer.

The type of batteries also affects how long you can use the machine in continuous operation. The most advanced devices operate autonomously at full load for more than 120 minutes. Charging time is significant - up to 400 minutes. It is convenient when the kit includes a stand for restoring the charge. The so-called docking stations are very popular today with buyers, and hence with manufacturers of oversized household appliances.

Cleaning the instrument

It is impossible not to say a few words about the care of the device. Today, many models have a high-quality sealed case and therefore they can be washed directly under running water. It is good if the working part is removed and washed separately. If the clipper is not designed for wet cleaning, then it has to be shaken out manually. Some models are equipped with a small container for vacuum hair collection, but this is not always convenient due to the small size of the container. Such devices are used if light trimming is required.
